Event Overview

This CPD day will support staff to teach high quality gymnastics and dance lessons.

During the Gymnastics workshops teachers will:

• Take part in practical sequences of learning from EYFS to year 6.
• See how apparatus can be used to support learning.
• Discuss ways to differentiate and adapt tasks to meet the needs of all pupils.

Our Dance workshop will support staff to teach dynamic and engaging dance lessons that link to the curriculum. Our dance workshop will:

• Support all primary school teachers to feel confident to enjoy teaching dance,
• Explore how movement vocabulary can develop dance,
• Use dance to celebrate and develop the whole child

This workshop is free for all schools in the Redcar & Eston School Sports Partnership.
